In the Fall of 2016, the City of Sammamish Parks and Recreation department led an internship with the Tesla STEM High School. Rishi, Jeffrey, Anne and Ritika were selected to participate in the six-week environmental design internship, which primarily focused on interpretive signage at Evans Creek Preserve. As part of this internship, each student was responsible for researching and designing an interpretive sign. Students concluded their internship after presenting their interpretive signage concepts to the Parks and Recreation Commission in January 2017.
