GENERAL FUNCTIONS: This position will be primarily supervising individuals or groups who rent indoor facilities. The schedule is flexible but the majority of the hours available are during weekends and events throughout the year.

 

SUPERVISION: Works under the direct supervision of Recreation Supervisor.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Serve as a site or event coordinator for various special events, activities, and programs.
  • Assist in specific recreation program areas such as camps, classes, or special events.
  • Assist, as needed, with event set up and take down.
  • Provides quality customer service.
  • Opens and secures the facilities as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

GENERAL PURPOSE

The Permit Technician provides the City’s citizens and customers with friendly and accurate one-stop shopping for information about the City’s codes and permit process. This involves coordinating the permitting process and assisting in issuing all City permits. Application documents are verified for completeness, logged, filed, fees are calculated and accepted, documents are routed to all involved parties for review, tracked, project completion is verified, notification provided.  The Permit Technician provides information related to individual projects and miscellaneous assistance to building inspectors, staff and other internal and external customers. Performs related clerical duties in support of the division and assists in the development and maintenance of the filing systems.

Works under the general supervision of the Permit Center Manager.

GENERAL PURPOSE

The Senior Human Resources Analyst performs senior-level provisional human resources generalist duties in the areas of recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations and training and development, collaborating with other departments, employees and job candidates to ensure the City’s human resources responsibilities are carried out in an efficient, effective and customer service-focused fashion.  The position may serve as Acting Human Resources Director in the absence of the Director of Administrative Services.

The Senior Human Resources Analyst is supervised by the Director of Administrative Services.

SUPERVISON EXERCISED

While the Senior Human Resources Analyst does not have direct supervisory responsibilities, the Senior Human Resources Analyst will need to closely collaborate with the Department’s Administrative Assistant as well as staff in other departments

Provides support to the Webmaster position in the Information Technology Services Division of the Finance and Information Technology Services Department located at Sammamish City Hall.  Applicant will work in a team setting under the supervision of the Sr. Information Systems Manager. The ideal candidate will have a broad interest in Municipal Government and/or web based technology and have experience updating website content, writing user documentation, working with Adobe Creative Cloud products and providing quality customer service to City staff and public.

This position is planned to be a up-to 4-month position.  Hours may vary based on workload demands, up to 40 hours per week.  This particular position is  designed to provide entry-level, hands-on work experiences for college students enrolled in technical programs related to website administration and/or web development.
